Depression causes us to not love ourselves. Depression lies to us that no one could love us. It feels so real... we feel so unlovable, but our feelings are not always true.

The right medication is an important ingredient towards overcoming depression. It can be really hard to find the right medication(s) dose(s) that work for you. I understand how hard it can be. But there is hope that you can find the right medication that will make you feel well again.

Don't overlook exercise as a key element to help you on your journey to emotional health. I used to HATE to exercise. When you're depressed you really really don't want to exercise and feel like it is impossible to exercise. But if you can muster the energy to do it on one of you better days it WILL make you feel better!

When you feel depressed you just want to stay by yourself and inside. It feels impossible to get out of bed, get dressed and go outside. But going outside has emotional and health benefits and is an easy step to make towards recovery. Do this today to take a tiny step towards feeling better.
